A small charge is made for each meeting to cover the rental of the room and refreshments.

We have been looking at the the work of individual Architects. This has brought up many interesting architects from around the world, many of whom we are not familiar with, and has resulted in some very informative and fascinating meetings and much discussion.
Although this subject is far from exhausted and we will continue to look at some architects, along with some of our personal 'favourite buildings', we have decided we need a new subject and we are starting to look at Bridges including viaducts and aquaducts. We are concentrating, to start with, on those in the UK.

Members of the Group research a particular aspect of their chosen bridge and then give a short, illustrated presentation to the Group of their findings.

The Group may make occasional visits to interesting buildings.

Any members wishing to join the Group are assured a warm welcome.
