The Modernist group will initially discuss novels written in the Modernist period between 1890 and 1950, at a rate of one novel per month. Each group member will initially choose and lead the discussion on one novel. Discussion will undoubtedly touch on other aspects of Modernism such as, the visual arts, architecture and design, music and dance. Whilst discussing each of the novels chosen by members we will decide which aspect(s) of Modernism to focus on as the group moves forward.
