The annual cost of belonging to Northampton u3a is £20. For what is included, please see Membership Benefits in the Members Area.
The joining fees for new members throughout the year are Mar-May, £20; Jun-Aug, £16; Sep-Nov, £12; and Dec-Feb, £8. Members joining in March are enrolled for 13 months. All fees are renewable on 1st April.
If you are already a member of another u3a, there will be a £3.50 discount because you will already have paid the Third Age Trust capitation fee at your existing u3a. You will be an Associate member of Northampton u3a.

Specific costs for group activities such as transport, entrance fees, tickets, meals, and premises hire (if applicable) are paid on a meeting by meeting basis.

FOR NEW MEMBERS
You may join Northampton u3a if you are no longer in full time work. There are no age limits or academic requirements, only a willingness to participate in a self help organisation, where “Those who teach shall also learn and those who learn shall also teach.”

New Members meetings are held about 3 times per year to provide information about Northampton u3a, and get feedback from members who have recently joined.

A single member Membership renewal form 2025/26 can be downloaded by clicking this link. Please print it out if required, then follow the instructions on the form, returning the completed form, your cheque and a SAE to the membership secretary, Tony Kellett by 31st March 2025.
A two person Membership renewal form 2025/26 may be downloaded using this link.
Alternatively, existing members can now renew and pay online via the Northampton u3a Members Portal.
