Allons-y!

This is a new group starting on the first of September 2025. It is for complete beginners and for those who studied it at school and have forgotten a lot of it and want ‘revision’.

It will be held on the first and third Monday of each month at 10.00am-12.00pm. The venue is St Crispin Retirement Village where Carol lives.

The sessions will be informal and a lot more fun than learning languages at school! Conversation will be taught alongside some grammar and members will be encouraged to ‘have go’.

Carol is not a native speaker but she is fluent in French and has a good accent. She first started studying it in 1972 and has enjoyed eveny moment. She also speaks Spanish and Italian. She has been to France many times and knows about the history and culture both of which will come up in appropriate sessions.
